Essi är en 22-årig dansare som har flyttat till Vasa för att studera. Hon började dansa redan som liten vid Nurmijärvi dansinstitut, där hon först började med balett och sedan intensivt tränade olika stilar som till exempel nutida dans, jazz, show och hiphop. Senare flyttade hon till Helsingfors för att träna bland annat på Step Up och PRPL-träningsgruppen, där hennes favoriter blev hiphop och commercial. Hon har också tyckt om att lära sig från olika topdansare, även utomlands. Essi har tävlat i street-SM-lag och vunnit medaljer. Det bästa med dans enligt Essi är att ha roligt tillsammans och att uppmuntra varandra. Dessutom tycker hon om att se sina elever göra sitt bästa på lektionerna.
På lektionerna blandar vi teknik och stil från olika dansgenrer. Vi fokuserar på koreografi, musikalitet, uttryck och självförtroende. Koreografierna baseras på teknik från streetdance, showdans och jazzdans. Målet med lektionerna är att alla ska ha roligt och uttrycka sig på sitt eget sätt!
